Rudder

Here is the rudder so far, only remainin are a few blind rivets (aka pop rivets) that still have cleco's in their holes and the trailing edge.

Here is the trailing edge that still needs to be riveted.

Before glueing and riveting I put in a gob of RTV to help strengthen the rudder and to prevent cracking in the future. Other builders have had a few cracks develop in this area of the plane.

Here is a picture of the glue used in the trailing edge. Its the same stuff for that seals the fuel tanks. I'm *really* looking forward to that :-)

Here is the trailing edge glued and cleco'd. Also there is a piece of angle aluminum clecko'd one to keep it straight while the glue sets. It takes a long time - over 30 days for it to become fully cured.
