Rib Prep

So, why the big delay in postings? Well, I had to get all the ribs prep'd. Here you can see a rib, that has a curve to it. When the ribs are formed, they end up distorted an no longer straight. This is fixed by "fluting" which adds those little notches you can see on the back side of this rib.




Another step is to bend all the flanges to 90 degrees. The picture below is how the ribs come from the manufacturer. It has about an 80 degree bend.
