Tank Attach Bracket

You have to fabricate a bracket that mounts the front of the fuel tank to the fuselage. Here is what they give you in the plans.


And here is what you make them out of.


To start you just measure 3.75" and cut that off.


Then cut the approximate angles.


Then a ton of sanding, and you end up with this. One down, one to go.


Here is the second one after a rough cut.



These surprisingly took longer than I thought. This aluminum is pretty thick and band saw has a fine blade so I can cut thin aluminum without destroying it. So to cut these took quite a bit longer...
