More Sealing

I'm making good progress on the left tank. I've began sealing the inner ribs. I didn't bother reading the directions since a lot of other builders have perfected a much easier, and better assembly method. The process used here is called fay sealing, which means that the two matting surfaces are covered in sealant. Then they are cleco'd together.

Each rib gets installed starting at the forward most bottom rivet hole. (The tank is upside down in the picture) this is the easiest way I've found to get skin on the ribs. Check out the sexy coveralls. Oh yeah.

Now, all the ribs are celco'd to the skin.

To make sure they are tight I put two washers between the skin and celco. This will help squeeze the skin to the rib at tight as possible.
