Tank Sealing
Ah the fun is now going to begin. Its time to start sealing the tank.
I've got a digital scale to aid in mixing the 2-part sealant. They are mixed 10:1 by weight.

You need to soak the rivets in MEK before hand so that all the oil is removed from the rivets.

Here is what the unmixed sealant looks like. Its extremely sticky.

Trained Professional working here. I went through probably 10 sets of gloves.

Here is what the stiffeners look like after being riveted and each rivet is covered in sealant. On the right tank, I'm going to shorten the stiffeners just a tiny bit more. Since the distance between them is just enough for the rib, having a little more room would make sealing them a little easier.

I used tape to keep the areas where the ribs go free of sealant.

Here is the tank drain which has been sealed and riveted into place. I still need to put sealant on the other side of the rivets.
