Drilling / Countersinking Left fuel tank
The tank is fully clecod, and has been match drilled.

The skin gets countersunk for the rivets that attach to the rear baffle. I believe if these were dimpled they would interfere with the spar when the tank was installed. I used my cordless drill for this, on its lowest RPM setting. This works WAY better than the air drill.

Tonight I drilled the fuel cap flange. For some reason I was stalling on doing this - But it turned out to be a non-event.

These are the "Deluxe" caps. I opted for the non-locking version. Dealing with keys for fuel caps seems like it would be more of a pain than anything.

Fine work I must say.
